I have become fascinated by one question. Why do some women have extraordinary capacity yet live far beneath it?
Over the last two years I interviewed hundreds of women. I even built a podcast around the question.

They care deeply. They invest in themselves. They do everything they are told. Yet something doesn't quite add up.
For the quality of their work. For the caliber of woman they know they are. For the leader they are. They should be making a greater impact. For the capacity they carry, life should look different.
That question became personal. Because it became my story too.
The more women I met behind the scenes, the less interested I became in surface level answers. I became interested in the woman behind the work. The woman behind the marriage. The woman behind the leadership position. The woman behind the business.
I no longer believe every problem is what it looks like. Sometimes the operating system underneath the visible problem is quietly shaping everything above it.
To me, a Best Kept Secret is simply a woman who knows that her capacity is greater than the life she is currently experiencing.
