The Spill Over

by Prima Jope

Sometimes one area of life slowly starts affecting everything else.

A marriage issue starts affecting business. A business issue starts affecting your peace. Stress starts affecting how you lead. Lack of self-trust starts affecting the way you make decisions.

An old pattern in one part of life begins quietly spilling into the rest.

And because you are capable, functional, and used to carrying a lot, it can take a while to notice the cost of that spillover.

The cost in peace of mind. The cost in the quality of your decisions. The cost of building up resentment. The cost in your sleep. The cost in the quality of your closest relationships.

There comes a point when this spill over can no longer be ignored. When the strategy of compartmentalising stops working. When the will to keep everything separate finally runs out.

That is often the moment a woman gets honest - not about the visible situation, but about the root that has been leaking into every room of her life.
